The Communauté de communes Ardre et Châtillonnais was a French association of communes with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the Marne department in the Grand Est region . The community association was founded on January 1, 2014 and comprised 26 communities. The administrative seat was in Ville-en-Tardenois .
Historical development
The association of municipalities was created with effect from January 1, 2014 through the merger of the predecessor organizations Communauté de communes Ardre et Tardenois and Communauté de communes du Châtillonnais .
On January 1, 2017, the community association was split up.
- 18 of the 26 municipalities came to the newly founded Communauté urbaine du Grand Reims (Anthenay, Aougny, Bligny, Brouillet, Chambrecy, Chaumuzy, Cuisles, Jonquery, Lagery, Lhéry, Marfaux, Olizy, Poilly, Pourcy, Romigny, Sarcy, Tramery and Ville- en-Tardenois)
- the eight remaining municipalities joined the newly founded Communauté de communes des Paysages de la Champagne (Baslieux-sous-Châtillon, Belval-sous-Châtillon, Champlat-Boujacourt, Châtillon-sur-Marne, Cuchery, La Neuville-aux-Larris, Passy- Grigny and Vandières).
