Communauté de communes de la Vallée de la Cleurie

The Communauté de communes de la Vallée de la Cleurie is a former communal association ( Communauté de communes ) of four municipalities in the Vosges department in Lorraine . The name translates as Tal der Cleurie and takes up the geographical location on the Moselotte tributary Cleurie in the Vosges .

The municipal association had 5,172 inhabitants (2006) on 42.12 km², which corresponds to a population density of 123 inhabitants / km². Headquarters of the association ear the municipality of La Forge . The last president of the local authority was Patrick Lagarde , who was mayor of Cleurie.

The association was founded in November 1996 to bundle the material resources of the communities and to coordinate economic development.

With effect from January 1, 2014, the community association merged with the Communauté de communes des Vallons du Bouchot et du Rupt and thus formed the new Communauté de communes Terre de Granite .

Former member parishes

Each member municipality provided two representatives and, in addition, one representative for every 500 inhabitants or part thereof in the municipalities.
