The Compañía General de Tabacos de Filipinas, SA ( General Tobacco Company of the Philippines , abbreviated as CdF ), also known as Compañía Española de Tabacos de Filipinas , is the first private tobacco company in the Philippines. It was founded by Antonio López y López in Barcelona in 1881, the company headquarters are in Manila . In Spain the company is known as "Tabacos de Filipinas" and in the Philippines as "La Tabacalera".

Although the company now specializes in the tobacco trade, it used to be active in other areas as well. Among other things, she had a shipping line and founded companies for the cultivation, purchase, production and sale of Filipino tobacco and tobacco products.

The company shrank on a large scale between 1950 and 2000. During this time, all other activities except for the tobacco trade were sold. In 2007, the merger with the Dutch tobacco trading company Lippoel Leaf created the CdF International Group, and in 2011 CdF merged with the American tobacco trading company Hail & Cotton, with Tabacos de Filipinas continuing to exist as a Filipino subsidiary.
