The Conestoga River (also Conestoga Creek ) is a 99 km long left tributary of the Susquehanna River , which flows through Lancaster County in the US state of Pennsylvania .
The Conestoga River Watershed covers approximately 1,230 km 2 and feeds significant amounts of nitrogen into the Susquehanna River . The average amount of nitrogen injected in 2007 was nearly 30,000 pounds a day.
