Live and act
Flockner had completed training as a businessman and then decided to work as an actor. His first major engagement took him to the Berlin Theater des Westens in 1918 , and in 1926 he also appeared in the film ( I had a comrade ).
Since 1924 he has been active for the cinema, first as a production assistant and location manager . Although Flockner was occasionally allowed to work as a production manager, he mainly remained production manager until 1938 - most recently for Majestic-Film, which took him on as production and line manager. After the Majestic was dissolved in 1941, Conrad Flockner was hired by the Tobis state company .
After 1945, Flockner hired himself primarily as a dubbing director or producer of dubbed versions of foreign films; In this role he was also involved in the German version of Carol Reed's classic film The Third Man . Flockner continued to work as a production manager (for Berlin and Munich companies). Under his direction, high-quality cinema equipment such as Fireworks , Hotel Adlon and the ambitiously worn politician biography Stresemann , Flockner's last feature film, was created.
