Conrad W. Hall
Conrad Wynn Hall (born November 13, 1958 in Los Angeles ) is an American cameraman .
Life
Hall is the son of the cameraman Conrad L. Hall (1926-2003) from his second marriage. He accepted his third Oscar on behalf of the 2003 Academy Awards , as his father had already died at this point. His grandfather is the author James Norman Hall (1887–1951).
Hall began his own career as a cameraman in the 1980s as an assistant camera, then later as a simple cameraman. Occasionally he worked on this with his father. He also works as a cameraman in the advertising film industry.
His first feature film was Panic Room (2002), during which he replaced the actual cameraman Darius Khondji .
Hall was honored with the DVD Premiere Award at the 2002 DVD Exclusive Awards for his work on A Gentleman's Game .
