Conradine Stinde

Conradine Stinde (born September 30, 1856 in Lensahn , Ostholstein , † January 5, 1925 ) was a German writer.

Stinde was the daughter of Pastor Conrad Georg Stinde and his second wife Bertha, née Horn. The writer Julius Stinde was her half-brother.

She first wrote articles and stories for magazines and newspapers, Frauendaheim , Häuslicher Ratgeber , Fürs Haus , This sheet belongs to the housewife , From house to house , Feuilleton-Zeitung , Nord-Ostsee-Zeitung and others. She later published a pension story in Junge Mädchen (edited by Frida Schanz ): In the pastorate of Hellwigshagen with annual sequels. Stories also appeared in Kinderlust by Frida Schanz and in German Girls' Book by Thiemann in Stuttgart. She also published stories in the Itzehoer Zeitung, in the Plöner Wochenblatt and in 1896 in the Nord-Ostseezeitung.

She stayed in Lensahn until her mother's death in 1904, after which she moved to her brother Julius in Berlin and ran the household for him. Conradine Stinde later lived with Adolf Nissen , who took care of Julius Stinde's estate and edited the Buchholz books for the Berlin-based Grote Verlag.

Conradine Stinde died on January 5, 1925 at the age of 68. She was buried in the Stinde family grave in Lensahn cemetery.
