The Consul Reef (literally translated from English Consular Reef ) is a group of reef rocks off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . It forms the southern end of the Dion Islands and is off the southern end of Adelaide Island .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1963 based on the naming of other geographical objects in the area, all of which have names associated with a court .
