Cooper Pillot

Cooper Pillot (born October 27, 1994 in Manhattan , New York ) is an American actor . He was best known for his role as manager of the Naked Brothers Band (NBB) .

Life

Pillot is the son of Shawnee Pillot and the film and television producer Jonathan Pillot. He lives in New York with his parents and older sister Maia . He attends Friends Seminary , a private school, in Manhattan New York.

Career

At the age of nine, Cooper Pillot played the band manager on " The Naked Brothers Band: The Movie " . He was selected for his role and does not belong to the basic cast of the Naked Brothers Band like the other band members. Based on the film, the television series "The Naked Brothers Band" started on Nickelodeon in 2007 . From 2004 (the year in which the film was produced) until today, he has been a permanent member of the series. In Germany, the television series runs on Nick under the title: "The Naked Brothers Band: Young Rockstars Private" .

In his role as the band manager, Cooper Pillot, he is the adult in the band. His trademarks are the oversized glasses and the well-groomed appearance as a businessman from head to toe (suit). He keeps an eye on the others and regularly reminds them of their duties. He's a talent for organization. In a scene from The Naked Brothers Band: The film says Nat Wolff about him:

"He's nine, and he's really well respected in the business" Translation: "He's nine, and he's highly respected in the industry" .

The camera shows him Cooper with tubes in his ears and nose. This picture describes Pillot's role in the band with a wink.

He previously played in the off-Broadway play Getting Into Heaven , written by Polly Draper . In it he played together with Nat Wolff , Draper's son. Based on the film, the television series "The Naked Brothers Band" started on Nickelodeon in 2007 . From 2004 (the year in which the film was produced) until today, he has been a permanent member of the series. In Germany, the television series runs on Nick under the title: "The Naked Brothers Band: Young Rockstars Private" .

Awards, nominations

The Naked Brothers Band: The film won the 2005 Audience Award for Best Family Film at the Hamptons International Film Festival . In 2008 he was nominated for the Young Artist Award together with the other leading actors of the Naked Brothers Band .
