The Cooper Spur is a narrow rock spur on the Pennell coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It extends north from the east end of Cooper Bluffs .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Ronald R. Cooper, senior construction worker at McMurdo Station in the Antarctic winter of 1967 .
