Copernicus Publications
Copernicus Publications is a German open access publisher based in Göttingen . It was founded in 1988 as a non-profit association by scientists from what was then the Max Planck Institute for Aeronomy . In 2001 Copernicus GmbH was founded to handle conferences and the publishing business. All journals have been open access since 2004 . Copernicus Publications is headed by Thies Martin Rasmussen.
