Cord Tönnis
Cord Tönnis , also Cord Tönnies , was a master builder of the " Weser Renaissance ". His life dates are not known. His work as a stonemason at the armory in Lemgo is documented for 1548, and in 1553 he became Jörg Unkair's successor at the palace in Detmold. His main work is the central building of Schwöbber Castle. From 1568 Tönnis was mainly active in Hameln , where he a. a. the Leisthaus built.
