The Cormorant Lake is a lake in Division No. 21 in the west of the Canadian province of Manitoba .
The lake is 45 km northeast of The Pas . The lake, located at an altitude of 256 m , has a WNW-OSO extension of 26 km. The maximum width is 20 km. It is fed by Clearwater Lake to the west . The place of the same name is located on the eastern shore of the lake . There, Cormorant Lake is connected to Little Cormorant Lake via the so-called The Narrows , where Frog Creek drains the lake system east to North Moose Lake .
The Manitoba Provincial Road 287 runs along the southeastern shore of Lake Cormorant.
Cormorant Lake is a destination for fishing tourists who catch glass ey perch and pike here .
