Cornelius Prittwitz
Cornelius Prittwitz (born February 18, 1953 in Wertheim ) is a German legal scholar .
Prittwitz studied law and political science in Munich, Geneva and Frankfurt am Main. After completing his doctorate in 1983, he also studied at Harvard University , where he obtained the academic title Master of Public Administration in 1985 .
Since 1985 he has been a lecturer at the University of Frankfurt am Main , where he completed his habilitation in 1992 . After teaching and judging in Münster and Rostock, Prittwitz became an advisor to the Chilean Ministry of Justice from 1998 to 2000. Since the summer semester he has been professor for criminal law, criminal procedure, criminology and legal philosophy at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main.
