The Corno Bianco 3427  m slm is the fifth highest peak of the Adamello group , after Adamello , Carè Alto , Dosson di Genova and Monte Falcone . The height information differs and is given in older maps as 3434  m slm . The summit is of minor importance in alpine terms. He dominates the basin of Ghiaccaio Adamello | Vedretta Mandrone from the north. From there it even hides the main peak of the group, causing confusion. The northern flank of the mountain was still an almost flawless firn wall in the 1980s, from which it owes its name (Weißhorn in Italian). This firn wall has melted completely in recent years.

The summit is only accessible by walking on the glacier, the easiest ascent leads from the south over the west shoulder and west ridge to the summit. Since the transition over the west shoulder to Passo Brizio , which used to be often used on the ascent from Rifugio Garibaldi to Adamello, is no longer recommended due to the retreat of the glacier (fragile, risk of falling rocks), the summit is rarely climbed.
