The Coronda Lake is a lake in South Georgia in the South Atlantic . It is located northeast of Coronda Peak and southeast of Hercules Bay in the Busen region .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2013 based on the name of the mountain of the same name. Its namesake is the SS Coronda , the captain of which supported the work of the surveying teams of the British Discovery Investigations in 1928.
