The Coronda Peak is a 560 m high mountain on the north coast of South Georgia . It rises north of Leith Harbor in the Henriksen Peaks .
The name of the mountain can be found on a map that is the result of surveying work carried out between 1927 and 1929 as part of the British Discovery Investigations . It is named after the SS Coronda , whose captain supported the work of the Discovery Investigations survey team.
