The Coronet Peak ( English for Diademspitze ) is a 2175 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises on the southeastern Ene of the Bowers Mountains on the east side of the mouth of the Leap Year Glacier .
Two participants in a campaign run by the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition from 1967 to 1968 climbed the mountain and gave it a descriptive name.
