The Cosgrove Ice Shelf is a 56 km long and 40 km wide ice shelf on the Walgreen Coast of Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . It takes the inner, i.e. H. eastern, section of the bay between the King Peninsula and the Canisteo Peninsula .

It was mapped using aerial photographs of Operation Highjump (1946–1947). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Lieutenant Jerome R. Cosgrove of the United States Navy Reserve Forces , assistant communications officer on the staff of the Commander of the U.S. Navy Support Units for Operation Deep Freeze in 1967 and 1968.
