history

Cosmic Air was founded in 1997. The start of flight operations took place on January 1, 1998 with two Mil Mi-17 helicopters. In addition, a Dornier 228 was used from August 1998 . In 2005 the company's fleet consisted of two Dornier 288s, a Saab 340 and three Fokker F-100s . The company owned an aviation hub at Kathmandu Airport ; another hub was at Pokhara Airport .

Cosmic Air ceased operations in 2008. The airline was owned by Captain RP Pradhan.
