Cosmus Freuler
Cosmus Freuler (born August 3, 1780 in Azmoos , Wartau municipality , † December 10, 1838 in Glarus ) was a Swiss teacher, printer and librarian.
He founded the first book printing company in the canton of Glarus and printed the first Glarus newspapers. From 1808 to 1838 he was a teacher at the Protestant school in Glarus. Freuler was one of the first Swiss dialect writers .
Cosmus Freuler was the father of the pastor and poet Bernhard Freuler .
