description

The four-chamber megalithic complex with the rest of a forecourt consisting of four orthostats , which was preserved with part of the cairn and the curbs, is a typical “double court tomb”. In recent years the monument has grown over and is surrounded by a fence.

About six kilometers north of the original location in the townland of Ballintaggart is the Giant's Ring of Ballynahatty in County Down . A large henge encloses a small passage tomb here .
