The Crêt du Midi is a mountain above the resort of Vercorin in the Swiss canton of Valais and has an altitude of 2332 m above sea level. M. It is north of the Roc d'Orzival and separates Val d'Anniviers from the Val de Réchy .
The Crêt du Midi is Vercorin's local mountain. Several hiking trails lead from the village to the summit in around 3 hours. In 1973 a gondola lift with the middle station was built on Alp Sigeroula . In summer 2012 the lift was replaced by a modern gondola lift. The Bisse de Vercorin has been running along the western flank since the Middle Ages . This bisse directs the water from the Val de Réchy to the meadows of Vercorin. SwitzerlandMobility's route no. 58 " Chemin des Bisses " leads along the old, still functioning water pipe.
In winter, the Crêt du Midi, together with the neighboring summit Mont Major , is used as a ski area. In addition to the gondola lift, several ski lifts open up a small ski area.
