Crackdust is a death metal band from Botswana , Africa . Crackdust play an aggressive variant of Death Metal. Her subjects are the undead, hatred and violence.
history
Crackdust was founded at the beginning of 2006 by Roth (vocals, electric guitar), S'Bond (bass) and Dlax (drums). The band released the first single Deranged Psychopath that same year . Their debut album Dented Reality was released in December 2007 on Core Riodic . In mid-2008 Lee joined the band as the new bass player. The previous bassist S'Bond became the band's second guitarist.
In early September 2008, Crackdust was the inaugural band of Woodstock Botswana . In 2011 they released a second single, Return of the Gods .
style
The sluggishness of the pieces is particularly characteristic. They are kept slowly, whereby the perceived speed is much higher. In terms of sound, the songs are reminiscent of a mixture of Bolt Thrower and Dan Swano's slower works. The music of Crackdust is also compared to that of Cannibal Corpse .
