The cranial computed tomography ( CCT ) is a radiological examination method with which the brain in particular , but also bony parts , vessels, cerebral chambers with cerebral fluid as well as the other soft tissues inside the skull and many pathological changes in these structures can be visualized by means of disk-like cross- sectional images . It is an imaging procedure that is of great importance for modern neurology .
