Crescencio Gómez Valladares
Crescencio Gómez Valladares (born April 19, 1833 in Tegucigalpa , Honduras; † May 9, 1921 there ) was President of Honduras from May 15, 1865 to August 12, 1876 with interruptions .
Life
His parents were María Santos Valladares and Juan Bautista Gómez Rodríguez. He studied at the Universidad de Honduras . He graduated in law . He was admitted to the bar in 1855. In 1857 he was Alcalde of Tegucigalpa. In January 1862 Damiana married Gálvez. In 1865 he was finance and war minister in the government cabinet of José María Medina. From May 15 to September 1, 1865 he was acting president.

From August 18, 1869 to July 1870, he was Minister of the Interior. He was a member of parliament. From April 5 to May 12, 1872 he was executive president. Until January 13, 1874 he was under house arrest under the government of Carlos Céleo Arias López . In 1880 he became a member of parliament for the Department of El Paraíso.
From January 1, 1881 to 1883, he was presiding judge at the Supreme Court under the government of Marco Aurelio Soto
He lived permanently in Tegucigalpa.
From 1888 to 1891 he was development minister in the government cabinet of Luis Bográn Barahona .
In 1890 he became Foreign Minister in the government cabinet of Luis Bográn Barahona.
From 1903 to 1907 he was a public prosecutor at the Supreme Court under the government of Manuel Bonilla .
