Cristian Poglajen (born July 14, 1989 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine volleyball player .

Career

Poglajen was South American champion with the Argentine juniors in 2008. The following year the youngsters reached third place at the world championships. The outside attacker, who also has a Slovenian passport, played for Villa Maria Voley in the 2009/10 season. He then moved to CA Vélez Sársfield . With the senior national team , he took part in the 2010 World Cup and in the World League in 2010 and 2011 . In 2011 Poglajen also played with the Argentines in the World Cup . In the same year he moved to the Belgian first division club Knack Randstad Roeselare . With the Argentine national team he reached the quarter-finals at the 2012 Olympic Games in London . After that, Poglajen played for one season in his home country with Sarmiento Chaco before moving to the Polish league to Effector Kielce in 2013 .
