Cristian Zenoni (born April 23, 1977 in Trescore Balneario ( BG ), Italy ) is a former Italian football player . His twin brother Damiano Zenoni is also a professional soccer player.

Club career

The defender Zenoni began his career in 1995 with Atalanta Bergamo and moved to Juventus Turin in 2001 . In 2003 he left the club and joined Sampdoria Genoa , for which he was active in Serie A over the next five years . In the summer of 2008, the defensive player signed for Bologna FC . After two years and 49 games in the top Italian division, his contract was not renewed in the summer of 2010. In October 2010, Zenoni signed a one-year contract with the second division UC AlbinoLeffe . In the 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons he was in the SS Monza 1912 squad . From his first league appearance on November 13, 2011 until the end of the season in the first season, he was used in 19 league matches and two relegation games.

National team

After he had represented his home country as a member of the Italian U-21 team and had completed three games from 1998 to 1999, Zenoni made his debut on February 28, 2001 in a friendly against Argentina for the Squadra Azzurra . The defender played his second game for the Italian team on August 16, 2006 against Croatia .
