Damiano Zenoni (born April 23, 1977 in Trescore Balneario ) is an Italian football player , he plays on the position of midfielder . His twin brother Cristian Zenoni currently plays for Bologna FC .

Career

Damiano Zenoni started his career at AC Pistoiese in Serie C1 . After a season in Pistoia , Zenoni then moved to league rivals Alzano Virescit . For the 1998/99 season Zenoni then moved to the then Serie B club Atalanta Bergamo . Here, too, he was able to assert himself immediately and thus quickly became a top performer at Atalanta. Bergamo was promoted to Serie A in the 1999/2000 season . As a result, the club held three seasons in the top division of Italy, before relegating back to Serie B in the 2002/03 season. In the 2003/04 season he was directly promoted again. In the middle of the 2004/05 season, Zenoni moved to league rivals Udinese Calcio after six and a half years at Atalanta . He also showed convincing performances in Udine , so that Zenoni quickly made the leap into the regular formation. After spending three years at FC Parma from 2007 to 2010 , during which time he was mostly part of the permanent staff, his contract was not renewed in the summer of 2010.
