Cristina Laslo (born April 10, 1996 in Cluj-Napoca ) is a Romanian handball player .

Career

Cristina Laslo started playing handball in her birthplace at CSȘ Viitorul Cluj. In 2011 the back court player joined Universitatea Cluj , with whose women's team she later played in the top Romanian league and took part in several European cup competitions. From summer 2017 she was under contract with the Montenegrin top club ŽRK Budućnost Podgorica . With Budućnost she won the Montenegrin Championship and the Montenegrin Cup in 2018 and 2019. In the 2019/20 season she played for the Romanian first division club Corona Brașov. Then Laslo joined the league competitor CS Minaur Baia Mare.

Laslo won the gold medal at the U-18 handball world championship in 2014 and was also elected to the tournament's all-star team. Two years later she won the bronze medal at the U-20 World Cup and was re-elected to the All-Star team. In the small final she scored 12 goals against Germany. She is now a member of the Romanian national team . Laslo took part in the 2016 European Championship with Romania .
