Cristoforo della Rovere
Cristoforo della Rovere (born June 13, 1434 in Turin , † February 1, 1478 in Rome ) was an Italian cardinal of the Roman Church .
Domenico della Rovere's brother successfully studied law at the University of Bologna .
Since August 3, 1472 Archbishop of the Diocese of Tarentaise with seat in Moûtiers , Pope Sixtus IV , with whom he was related , elevated him to cardinal in pectore on December 10, 1477 and published his name two days later. On December 12, 1477 he was appointed cardinal priest of Santi Vitale, Valeria, Gervasio e Protasio .
He died six weeks later and was buried in the Church of Santa Maria del Popolo in Rome.
