The Cronk Islands ( English Cronk Islands ) are a group of islands off the Budd coast of the East Antarctic Wilkesland . In the archipelago of the Windmill Islands , they are located northeast of Hollin Island .
They were first mapped using aerial photographs taken during Operation Highjump (1946–1947) and Operation Windmill (1947–1948). The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after the American glaciologist Caspar Cronk (* 1935), who worked at Wilkes Station in 1958 .
