The Crown Hills ( English for Crown Hill ) are a group of hills in East Antarctic Victoria Land . They rise between Zenith Glacier and Gambone Peak and form the southeastern part of the Lanterman Range in the Bowers Mountains .
The New Zealand Antarctic Place-Names Committee named them in 1983 at the suggestion of the geologist Malcom Gordon Laird (1935-2015) based on the name of the nearby Coronet Peak .
