Crucuno is a hamlet in the commune ( commune ) of Plouharnel in the Morbihan department in Brittany in France . It is east of the D781 road (Rue des Menhirs) from Erdeven to Plouharnel, between two small ponds. The place is known for two dolmens and a cromlech .

Attractions

The dolmen, which served as a stable for a long time, stands close to a house in the middle of the hamlet. It used to have a long corridor and a total length of about 27.0 m. The ceiling slab weighs around 40 tons.

Of the rectangular stone setting of the cromlech (better: Quadrilatère ), 33 by 25 m large stone quarter, which is aligned with the cardinal points, 22 stones are still present, which may not have been erected again in their original position. The Cromlech is east of the hamlet.

Surroundings

About 800 m northeast of the hamlet near a small pond, in a small forest, lies the Mané Groh dolmen . Approx. The comparable megalithic grave Mané Braz is located 1500 m northwest of the village .
