Cruzeiro , officially Município de Cruzeiro , is a Brazilian city in the state of São Paulo in the central area of the Paraíba Valley , about 200 km east of São Paulo. Cruzeiro is 7 km north of Rodovia Presidente Dutra , the BR-116 national road that connects Rio de Janeiro with São Paulo.
The city has an area of 305 km²; it counted 77,039 inhabitants in 2010. As of July 1, 2018, the population was estimated at 81,895 inhabitants.
