Cucine Lube srl is an Italian kitchen manufacturer. The head office is in Treia in the Marche region . The company was founded in 1967 by Luciano Sileoni and Benito Raponi and is one of the largest kitchen manufacturers in Italy.

history

In 1967, Cucine Lube started out in a simple garage. At that time the carpenter Luciano Sileoni and the hairdresser Benito Raponi founded the company SIRA srl in the province of Macerata (Marche). The acronym was derived from the initials of the surnames of the two founding members.

The company expanded in a short time and in 1974 the industrialized production was relocated to a new plant. When Sileoni's brother-in-law Fabio Giulianelli joined the company as a third partner, the company name was changed to LUBE Cucine Componibili srl. The company name is derived from the initials of the first names of the two owners. The company marketed its products in the Marche, Abruzzo and Emilia-Romagna regions in the early 1980s and then expanded its distribution network throughout the country.

In the decades that followed, the company manufactured other types of furniture, intensified exports abroad and founded the LUBE Over SpA Group in 1993. Ten years later, in 2003, after a restructuring of the corporate structure, the LUBE Over Group was merged into Lube Holding Srl and the business activities were transferred to a new company called Cucine Lube Srl.

Cucine Lube is the market leader among Italian kitchen manufacturers in terms of production and sales.

In addition to the fitted kitchens, designer furniture in the living and sleeping areas, tables and chairs are also manufactured.

Production takes place in the 150,000 m² Treia plant, which employs over 650 people. In 2019, sales of 210 million euros were achieved, the highest in the history of companies in the Marche region to date. The company exports to over 76 countries and has a commercial network with over 2,000 kitchen specialty stores worldwide. A photovoltaic system with over 15,000 modules was installed on the roof of the production facility, which produces around 6 million kW of clean energy every year.

The group markets its kitchens and furniture under the brand names Creo Kitchens , Borgo Antico Cucine and Faer Ambienti .
