The Cumbers Reef is a group of reef rocks off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . In an arched arrangement, they form the northern and western parts of the Amiot Islands off the coast of the southwestern part of Adelaide Island .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the reef in 1964 after Roger Neil Cumbers (* 1939), third officer of the research vessel RSS John Biscoe and involved in the mapping of this area in 1963.
