description
The animals grow to a length of 600 to 1000 µm and have a chewing apparatus like Collotheca . The muzzle, however, has no eyelashes, so that a large, smooth-edged and hammer-in muzzle is created. The animals use the funnel to catch loads of algae , roundworms and protozoa . Then the hem of the mouth is turned over and the funnel is folded up.
