Gameplay

In Cut the Rope is about a green animal called " Om Nom " (from the American, slang for Cookie Monster) in a box of candy to feed. The candy is hanging on a rope that can be cut with the aid of your finger or mouse to carry it into Om Nom's mouth . On the way to the mouth, the player must collect three stars with the candy. The way into the mouth is made more difficult by various objects such as lasers, air bubbles or balloons (used as bellows). New objects are introduced into the game in different boxes.

In order to reach the mountain of sweets, all boxes have to be overcome. Completion of each level is rewarded with up to three stars and a score (depending on the number of stars collected and the time required). To achieve four stars, superpowers have to be bought in-app. The game supports Apple's Game Center as well as Google Play Games for leaderboards and achievements.
