The Cuyamaca Peak ( 1986 m ) is the highest mountain of the Cuyamaca Mountains in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park , east of San Diego , California .
The summit can be reached as an easy mountain hike from the Paso Picacho campsite (1500 m). Snow can be expected in winter.
