Cyberia is a computer game and was released in 1994 for PCs with the MS-DOS operating system . It is the first game of its kind to feature 3D rendered graphics . Two years later, ports for PlayStation , Sega Saturn and 3DO followed . The sequel Cyberia 2 appeared in 1995 for the MS-DOS and Windows 95 operating systems .

The earth in 2027, five years after the world economic collapse. The collapse of the world economy is leading to massive changes in global power structures. The criminal Eastern Bloc cartels are fighting with the Western Free World Alliance (FWA) for supremacy. The talented computer hacker Zak (Zebulon Pike Kingston) is in custody and is charged with espionage and high treason. William Devlin, head of the FWA, makes Zak an offer: If he goes on a secret mission, he will be released from custody. A complex of buildings, code-named CYBERIA, was discovered under the frozen wasteland of Siberia. It is said to house research laboratories for nanotechnology and cybernetics and to develop a mysterious weapon. Zak is supposed to break into this building complex and steal this weapon. The player controls Zak interactively with the keyboard without a time limit via predefined paths that cannot be deviated from. Various puzzles have to be solved and skill missions have to be played.
