Cyrus Technology is a German mobile phone manufacturer from Aachen that specializes in robust smartphones for the outdoor and commercial sector.

history

The company was founded as a startup in 2013 by Roonak Emami and Torsten Belverato , who had gained experience in selling smartphones from their previous professional biographies . The first smartphones for athletes, mountaineers but also craftsmen and construction workers were also launched in 2013. In addition, Cyrus Technology offers tailor-made software solutions for B2B users for their smartphones for large customers .

The devices and service are developed at the headquarters in Aachen, while the smartphones are manufactured in China. Cyrus Technology has its own sales offices in Clearwater (Florida) , USA for the North American markets , and in Bogotá , Colombia for Latin American markets. The company entered the South African market in 2018. A further branch is maintained at the production site in China.

The product range from Cyrus Technology includes robust, water-resistant, dust-proof and shock-proof outdoor smartphones and mobile phones with the Android operating system . Some devices comply with military standards such as MIL-STD-810 in this regard . Satellite navigation is possible with GPS , GLONASS , Beidou and Galileo , depending on the device type . Many devices are equipped with powerful batteries for long runtimes.
