The Kraus brewery is a beer brewery in Hirschaid , Upper Franconia , in the Bamberg district . The brewery has an annual production of 9,000 hectoliters, according to its own information 11,000 hectoliters.

history

The brewery was first mentioned in a document in 1664. Since 1845 it has been owned by the family . The brewery has a brewery tavern with a beer garden and a schnapps distillery .

Products

The product range includes the beers Hirsch Trunk , Krause bracket bearings Hell , Edelpils , lager beer , non-alcoholic beer , Hefeweizen , cyclists , seasonal festival beer and bock beer . The bottles are filled in crown cap bottles , sometimes also in swing-top bottles or beer kegs .

The schnapps is made from fruit schnapps and plum schnapps , Williams Christ pears , plum brandy , Franconian whiskey and plum brandy .

In addition, eleven types of soft drinks are produced.
