Czech Traded Index

The Czech Traded Index ( CTX ) is a real-time index of the most attractive Czech stocks developed by the Vienna Stock Exchange . In addition to the US dollar , the calculation is also made in euros and in local currency . It is part of the CECE Composite Index .

The index base was 1,000 points on July 15, 1996 , the starting capital was EUR 1,490,133,618.18. The CTX reached its all-time high on July 12, 2007 with 3,731.58 points.

The index is made up of the companies with the highest turnover and the highest capitalization that are listed on the Prague Stock Exchange (PSE).
