Text and music were written by the singer and drummer of the formation, Herwig Mitteregger . The combination of text, distinctive guitar riffs and the underlying drum beats from the synthesizer create an apocalyptic mood. The song was released on the band's second album 85555 and released as a single, which reached number 36 in the German single charts. Spliff released a new version of the hit on a remix album in 1990 .
In 2012 the turntable rockers covered the title on their album "Einszwei".
