The Dômu Iwa ( transcription from Japanese ド ー ム 岩 ' dome rock' ) is a 58 m high, dome-shaped hill on the Crown Prince Olav coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises on the east side of the confluence of the Higashi-naga-iwa glacier in the Cosmonaut Sea .
Scientists of a Japanese Antarctic expedition carried out the survey and its descriptive naming in 1981.
