The D-like heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein ( English heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein D-like , short hnRNP D-like or hnRNP DL ) is a protein found in eukaryotes . It can be found in the nucleus and cytoplasm of most eukaryotic cells. In humans, it is encoded by the HNRNPDL gene and is located on the long arm of chromosome 4 (4q21.22).

The protein is involved in the regulation of transcription and has binding sites for certain DNA and RNA sequences . Mutations in the HNRNPDL gene can cause girdle dystrophy 1G .
