DICE Summit

The DICE Summit ( acronym for Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain ) is an annual symposium for leading figures in the computer game industry in Las Vegas . It was introduced in 2002 by the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences and is also the host of the DICE Awards of the industry organization Entertainment Software Association (known as the Interactive Achievement Awards from 1998 to 2012 ).

The conference differs from other specialist conferences in its focus on business and production aspects, with a focus on trends and innovations in the field of game design. The conference sees itself as a more intimate, systematic meeting point for leading industry representatives to network with one another. After the event traditionally began with a relaxation phase before the opening of the presentations and discussion rounds, it has been introduced with a keynote since 2007 .
