The women's ice hockey club Eishasen Berlin was a German women's ice hockey club from Berlin that used to play in the women's ice hockey Bundesliga .

history

The DEC was founded in 1975/76 and was entered in the club register in 1979 as the first independent women's ice hockey club. In 1984/85 a Berlin women's ice hockey championship was played for the first time, in which the team of the DEC were subject to the women of the Berliner SC . In 1985/86 the team won the Berlin championship and took part in the final round of the German championship .

From 1986/87 the team of the DEC took part in a regular league, where they played from 1988 to 1992 in the women's ice hockey Bundesliga and - after two years in the 2nd league - 1994/95 again for one season in this league. From 1995/96 to 2005/06 the team played in the 2nd league level before they were withdrawn from the 2nd League North in 2006/07.
