DENA (artist group)
DENA (in Persian دنا) is an artist group that was founded in 2001 by Farah Ossouli and Gizella Varga Sinai in Tehran ( Iran ) and currently has ten members. The group takes its name from the highest point in the province of Kohkiluyeh and Boyer Ahmad within the Zagros Mountains. She also wants to express her respect for nature and its inherent creativity.
aims
The artist group aims to make Iranian full-time artists known in the country itself and abroad. The artists should speak with an independent voice, but should be able to present their different personal views of art. The artist group accordingly comprises three generations of women artists with their personal perspectives, artistic styles and backgrounds.
activities
The artist group organizes exhibitions to promote the artistic work of Iranian women in the world. This also includes support when starting a professional career.
The artist group organized and participated in many exhibitions in Iran and abroad.

Workshops
In addition, workshops are organized in various cities in order to reach as many women of all ages and nationalities as possible. The workshops are designed to promote women's self-confidence and psychological strength. Two workshops were e.g. B .:
